Warmset Black 150W 12V Electric Underfloor Heating Mat

This electric underfloor heating mesh is designed to create efficient and comfortable heated floors. Warmset Black 150W 12V is a unique, patented infrared heating system with no direct equivalent on the market. The 150W element heats up quickly, warming both the floor surface and the room.
The mat thickness is only 3 mm (connection ends approx. 6 mm), making it suitable for installation under most floor coverings. It can be installed in levelling compound or tile adhesive.

Warmset Black Aluminium Heating Mat – Electrical Safety

The Warmset Black heating element is insulated with a high-quality polypropylene sheath, designed to withstand temperatures of up to 150 °C.

The heating mat is rated IP68, meaning it is fully protected against moisture and water exposure, making it suitable for installations in wet environments when installed correctly.

For additional safety, the heating mat includes protective grounding, ensuring any potential electrical fault is safely discharged. When installed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and electrical regulations, the system prevents electrical leakage and eliminates the risk of fire caused by electrical faults.

BS 7671 Compliance – Bathroom & Wetroom Installations

According to BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), special safety requirements apply when installing electrical equipment in bathrooms and wetrooms.

(Inside the bath, shower tray, or walk-in shower floor area)

Only SELV (Separated Extra-Low Voltage) systems are permitted.

Maximum permitted voltage:

• 12V AC
• 30V DC

The power supply transformer must be installed outside Zones 0, 1, and 2.

For additional safety, BS 7671 recommends the use of DC systems or AC systems not exceeding 12V.

Compliance Statement

The Warmset 12V AC/DC heating mat is suitable for installation in Zone 0 when used with an appropriate SELV transformer located outside the restricted zones.
